Rashad Howard comes to Visual Connections as a Management Consultant with over 13 years of experience applying advanced IT and Systems Engineering concepts and principles toward management of complex systems and software development projects. He has considerable experience shepherding multiple projects through the Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) in high-visibility, high-ops tempo, mission-centric environments. His work proves he understands how critical systems support overall organizational strategic and mission objectives, as well as tie into supporting the national security infrastructure.
His varied skillsets include portfolio management planning, project management, technical writing, policy and procedure development, research and analysis, cost analysis, working group facilitation, process modeling, strategic planning, and stakeholder communications planning. Rashad is uniquely talented at helping clients leverage organizational creativity and out-the-box methodologies to become more innovative and implement frameworks for bringing elegant solutions to their most complex problems. His experience has primarily been within the DOD and Intelligence Community, as well as civilian Government agencies.
Rashada's main focus is to aid clients in designing simple, but elegant solutions to their most complex organizational challenges utilizing a world-class consultant base and proven best practices from Visual Connections biggest successes. Rashad has spent considerable time working to become a Trusted Advisor to multiple clients, and, when asked what do you do by friends and family, he responds very simply with, “I help clients succeed”.
Rashad is a Visual Connections Principal and currently serves as the Director of Defense & Intelligence Programs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in English from the United States Air Force Academy, a Masters Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
