Project/Requirements Manager
Visual Connections, LLC is seeking a Projects/Requirements Manager. The Projects/Requirements Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and managing all contract processing activities in support of the recruitment of personal services contractors.
Qualified Candidate:
Participate in project planning or oversight activities for assigned projects and initiatives.
Describes in detailed written, tabular and graphical form, for the software developers, all changes and/or additions to application functionality that are required for the software to work and satisfy the business requirements
The functional specifications will be referred to throughout the development of the application to know inputs, validations & exceptions, outputs and error processing
Works with the business analysts to ensure business requirements are complete, then prepares the functional specifications for the software developers
Will also be able to answer questions from developers and do additional research to obtain complete requirements
Elicit business requirements and translate to functional and technical requirements
This position will also work with the Lead QA Analyst to ensure adequate test coverage and scenario
Develop process flow diagrams. Develop and document current and new processes
Prepare test plans consisting of test cases, and other documentation to support testing
Conduct functional, regression, environment and accessibility testing.
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Document and track test results and track defects through resolution
Provide training and documentation to users on the functionality of developed applications and processes
Provide software life cycle support and production support services
Perform a variety of research and analysis tasks and documentation as identified
Skills/Qualifications: Presentation Skills, Written Communication, Layout Skills, Problem Solving, Deadline-Oriented, Process Improvement, Coordination, Strategic Planning, Market Knowledge
Experience/Education Requirements:
CMS experience required
PMP Certification required
RADV experience a plus
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and organizational skills is a requirement
The ability to adapt quickly working in a challenging and fast paced environment with a team as well as individually is a must
Proficiency in requirements development and have a solid understanding of software development
Ability to translate high level business requirements into technical requirements
Must have skills and knowledge utilizing: MS Windows, Microsoft Office Suite including MS Visio and MS Project is a must
Basic knowledge of one or more of the following is a plus:
Windows Servers
Internet Information Server
Networking(Firewall basics)
Web Development
Java
Application Lifecycle Management
Security Scans
Project Management
BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field in a technical or business discipline
5+ years of related experience
Must be highly organized with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Must have excellent MS Excel skills to do various types of analysis
