Denise Demers

Denise Demers joined Visual Connections in January 2017 as Senior Director of Growth and Capture. She brings more than 25 years’ experience as a seasoned Business Development, Client Relationship Management and Capture Executive and Manager. Her expertise spans the healthcare, technology solutions, professional services, and financial services industries. During her career, she had long tenure with and held individual contributor and management positions with prominent firms in the hardware, software, systems integration, and healthcare specialty markets.  

Denise brings with her extensive and recent federal healthcare experience focused on health-IT and related solutions involving data analytics and informatics, artificial intelligence, hosting, and system integration solutions. At VC, Denise is responsible for expanding the company’s public sector footprint and revenue, providing strategic oversight, delivering capture support for specific opportunities, and building processes for the company’s growing portfolio.

Denise has worked with a diverse selection of clients during her career, including numerous federal agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Health and Human Services including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Department of Defense—including the Departments of Navy and Air Force, the Defense Health Agency, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State. She also has experience with state and local government clients.

Prior to joining Visual Connections, Denise owned a successful woman-owned small business consulting firm for four years, providing business development and capture as a service to both small and large businesses focused on Federal Health IT consulting and solutions. Denise also had a prior career as an investment banker in public finance and worked with well-known Wall Street firms in New York and DC providing leasing and financing expertise to finance technology and other public sector solutions.

She is active in a variety of professional organizations including: Professional Services Council (PSC) and their annual VISION program; National Contract Management Association (NCMA); HIMSS/HIMSS National Capital Area; AFCEA DC (2011-2012) Board Member and Awards Chair; and Women in Technology.
